- Develop and maintain systems that define standards and increase productivity through effective management of people, facilities, and technology.
- Tackle organizational and operational challenges, applying Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste, improve quality, and support cost‑reduction initiatives while ensuring on‑time delivery and high customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain productivity standards through data‑driven analysis of people, processes, facilities, and technology.
- Analyze organizational and operational challenges, proposing innovative and practical solutions.
- Apply Six Sigma tools and methodologies to reduce waste, improve quality, and drive continuous improvement across operations.
- Support cost‑reduction initiatives while ensuring orders and finished goods meet quality, timing, and customer requirements.
- Review requests for proposals (RFPs) and prepare labor cost estimates, solution responses, presentations, and deployment plans for awarded opportunities.
- Evaluate facility space and capacity against current and forecasted volumes, determining utilization rates and recommending footprint adjustments.
- Assess workflows and capital resources to identify the most effective methods for meeting customer requirements.
- Analyze production techniques, staffing models, and equipment usage to determine production rates and operational capacity.
- Plan and design systems that improve productivity through better integration of people, materials, and equipment.
- Recommend enhancements to work methods, safety practices, and labor organization.
- Develop labor standards through analysis of work samples, workflows, production methods, and operator techniques.
- Apply ergonomic principles to workstation and work method design to reduce fatigue and prevent work‑related injuries.
- Review and optimize facility layouts to improve efficiency, throughput, and product quality.
- Strong understanding of high‑level processes across multiple Operations functions.
- Demonstrated initiative in identifying, evaluating, and implementing process improvements.
- Working knowledge of line‑balancing techniques to reduce work‑in‑process and improve flow.
- Proficiency in project management, including budgeting and RIO calculations.
- Ability to clearly communicate ideas and recommendations at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team‑based environment.
- Specialized working knowledge across areas such as planning and scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, auditing, assembly, inspection, documentation, defect identification and correction, material handling, packing, visual inspection, sorting and rework, maintenance, remodeling, construction, warehouse operations, barcode scanning, cycle counting, Bills of Lading, invoicing, inventory management, engineering/technical functions, gage control, and schematics.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four‑year college or university in a related profession/field.
- 3+ years of related experience.
- Ability to develop 2‑D layout renderings utilizing AutoCAD.
- Software knowledge with MS Office, Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
- Oracle experience.
