Yard Crane & Material Handling Operator

Arlington, TN Shift: 1st Shift Starting Pay: $22.00/hour — higher depending on experience

We are looking for a dependable Yard Crane & Material Handling Operator to support outdoor yard operations. This role involves moving structural steel, loading and unloading trailers, and operating various material-handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Move and position trailers throughout the yard.
• Operate Pettibone equipment to transport steel materials.
• Load and unload trailers.
• Operate overhead cranes to safely move structural steel.
• Assist with general outdoor yard and material-handling activities.
• Maintain reliable attendance and follow safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Experience operating cranes and material-handling equipment preferred; training may be provided to the right candidate.
• Experience loading structural steel using an overhead crane required.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Ability to safely handle steel and other materials in a busy yard environment.

We are open to candidates with experience operating some or all of the equipment listed and may provide training for the right person.
