Fitness Instructor; Part-Time

The Town of Arlington is currently seeking a part-time enthusiastic, organized, self‑starter who will work independently and as part of a team supporting the Town’s Senior Center. The position will be responsible for designing, leading, and promoting fitness and wellness programs that cater to the needs of older adults. Schedule may change as needed.

• Design fitness and wellness programs for older adults.
• Lead and promote fitness and wellness classes.
• Assist with scheduling and coordination of program activities.
• Maintain accurate program records.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Current certification in CPR, First Aid, and group fitness (or obtain within 6 months).
• Ability to work evenings and Saturdays as required.
• Knowledge of diverse fitness methodologies and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience as a fitness or exercise instructor.
• Certification as a fitness instructor or degree in a related field.
