Overall SummaryThe Tool Crib Coordinator is responsible for managing the day‑to‑day operations of the tool crib and inventory control processes to ensure accurate tracking, availability, and accountability of tools, equipment, and maintenance‑related materials.
This role supports maintenance and facilities operations by maintaining organized inventory systems, ensuring proper storage and distribution of tools, and monitoring equipment condition and usage. The position ensures that materials are readily available to support uninterrupted operations while maintaining compliance with internal controls and safety standards.
Your duties will include:Tool Crib Operations & Inventory Control
- Manage tool crib operations including receiving, stocking, labeling, and organizing tools, parts, and maintenance supplies
- Issue and track tools and equipment to employees while maintaining accurate usage records
- Perform routine cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy
- Maintain appropriate stock levels through monitoring and reordering materials as needed
- Ensure proper storage, organization, and housekeeping within tool crib and inventory areas
- Inspect tools and equipment for wear, damage, and safety compliance
- Coordinate repair, calibration, or replacement of tools as needed
- Maintain records for tool condition, maintenance, and calibration requirements
- Maintain inventory tracking systems (manual or electronic) to ensure accurate records of quantities, locations, and usage
- Support documentation of inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and adjustments
- Assist in generating basic inventory reports for tracking and audit purposes
- Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy against purchase orders
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding missing or incorrect shipments
- Support replenishment activities based on inventory levels and operational needs
- Oversee the full lifecycle management of company vehicles, including maintenance scheduling, fueling coordination, registration, inspection and overall fleet readiness.
Other duties may be assigned by management as needed.

- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems or databases
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow processes and maintain accurate records
- Effective communication with maintenance and operations teams
- Ability to work under moderate supervision in a fast‑paced environment
Must have a valid driver's license.
YOUR EDUCATIONRequired:
High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred:
Technical training or coursework in inventory management, logistics, or manufacturing operations.
Minimum 1 year of experience in tool crib operations, inventory control, warehouse, or maintenance support.
