Accounts Payable Clerk

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Arlington, Texas. In this role, you will handle essential financial tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payment processing. This position requires strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Process and code invoices accurately while adhering to company guidelines.

- Post and reconcile accounts payable transactions to ensure proper ledger maintenance.

- Research and resolve payment discrepancies and vendor inquiries promptly.

- Manage statement processing and ensure timely payments to vendors.

- Utilize Foundation Software to execute accounts payable tasks effectively.

- Perform check runs and ensure all payments are processed on schedule.

- Maintain detailed and organized records of financial transactions.

- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and streamline operations.

- Apply cost codes and general ledger knowledge to ensure accurate financial tracking.

Requirements

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.

- Strong knowledge of general ledger and cost code principles.

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data organization.

- Ability to accurately code and post invoices with attention to detail.

- Experience in researching payment issues and resolving discrepancies.

- Self-motivated and able to work independently while maintaining accuracy.

- Positive attitude and commitment to contributing to team success.
