• Business and Individual tax preparation
• Financial Statement Preparation
• Familiarity with tax software:
  Intuit Lacerte a big plus
• Well-versed with accounting practices, GAAP and keep current on changes to tax laws & regulations
• Ability to navigate a transaction database and determine potential issues or inappropriate posting in order to prepare a tax return
• Determine if compliance with policies and selected law/regulations are met
• Able and willing to meet business critical deadlines
• Maintaining relationships and communicating with key client personnel to understand business operations, processes, and functions
• Ability to demonstrate an understanding of accounting and tax laws and apply them to client situations
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
• Excellent bookkeeping skills and general accounting knowledge
• Proficiency with Quick Books, all versions
• Strong knowledge of Excel and Word
• Maintain paperless filing system

• Minimum of 3-5 years bookkeeping experience, preferably in a public accounting setting
• Minimum of 2 years Tax Preparation experience
• Exposure to multiple industries
• Associate's/Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting is a plus
