We're working with an independent CPA firm in Arlington, TX with around 15 to 25 staff, strong client relationships, and a genuine track record of keeping both clients and employees long term.

That matters. It usually points to a business that's well run, a team that actually works well together, and clients who value what they're getting.

They're now looking to add an experienced Tax Manager to the team.

This suits someone with at least 5 years of public accounting tax experience who's comfortable owning client relationships, reviewing complex work, helping develop junior staff, and being a steady senior presence at the firm.

You'll have a real, visible impact here instead of disappearing into a big corporate structure.

The firm also takes a sensible approach to workload. Busy season is still busy, but hours generally stay around 50 to 55 per week at peak, not the kind of schedule that wears you down year after year.

There's also hybrid flexibility, giving you more control over your week while staying closely connected to the team.

• At least 5 years of tax experience at a CPA or public accounting firm
• Comfortable reviewing returns, managing deadlines, communicating directly with clients, and helping develop junior staff
• CPA or EA ideally required
• Experience with CCH Axcess, Lacerte or Ultra Tax is useful, though the firm is open to other software backgrounds
