We're working with an independent CPA firm in Arlington, TX around 15 to 25 staff, with strong client relationships and a genuine track record of keeping both clients and employees long term. That's not a small thing. It usually points to a business that's well run, a team that works well together, and clients who value what they're getting.

They're now looking to add an experienced Tax Manager, someone with at least five years of public accounting tax experience who's comfortable owning client relationships, reviewing complex work, developing junior staff, and being a steady senior presence in the firm.

You'll have real, visible impact here instead of disappearing into a big corporate structure. The firm also takes a sensible approach to workload. Busy season is still busy, but hours generally stay around 50 to 55 per week at peak, not the kind of schedule that wears you down year after year.

There's hybrid flexibility too, giving you more control over your week while staying closely connected to the team.

• At least 5 years of tax experience at a CPA or public accounting firm
• Comfortable reviewing returns, managing deadlines, communicating directly with clients, and developing junior staff
• CPA or EA ideally required
• Experience with CCH Axcess, Lacerte, or Ultra Tax is useful, though the firm is open to other software backgrounds
