Overview
IES Residential is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Office Clerk to provide essential administrative and clerical support to keep daily operations running smoothly. This position is part-time, with the potential to grow into a full-time role based on performance and business needs. The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and eager to contribute to a collaborative office environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesFront Desk & Reception Support
- Greet visitors and clients courteously and professionally.
- Answer, screen, and route phone calls on a multi-line system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office area.
Clerical & Administrative Tasks
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Maintain paper and electronic filing systems.
- Perform data entry and general office recordkeeping accurately.
- Monitor and organize office supplies and assist with reordering as needed.
Scheduling & Communication
- Assist in coordinating meetings, appointments, and conference calls.
- Take accurate messages and distribute information promptly.
- Support communication between office staff, field teams, and vendors.
Document Preparation
- Create and edit simple documents, reports, and spreadsheets using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Scan, file, and maintain digital documents.
Team & Office Support
- Provide support to both office and field personnel as needed.
- Assist with travel coordination, purchase orders, or vendor communications.
- Help ensure the office runs efficiently day to day.

- Minimum 1 year of clerical or administrative experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
- Experience in the construction or electrical contracting industry is a plus but not required.
