Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time Benefits Counselor Assistant for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Arlington, TX. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented administrative professional who enjoys helping others, providing clear information, and supporting individuals as they navigate public benefits programs.

The Benefits Counselor Assistant will provide phone-based support, application assistance, data entry, and general administrative coordination for a busy, mission-driven department. • Respond to incoming calls and provide basic information regarding Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP, Medicare Savings Programs, Part D Extra Help, and other public benefit programs.
• Assist clients with completing, organizing, and submitting public benefits applications and related documentation.
• Maintain accurate client records and document calls, application activity, and follow-up details in reporting systems.
• Perform data entry, prepare mailings, update files, and provide general administrative support to the department.
• Support outreach activities by assisting with educational materials, program coordination, and client communication.
• Handle sensitive client information with professionalism, confidentiality, and care.

• Pay: $23.25 per hour.
• Schedule:
  
  Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
