Overview
This key position supports delivering Quality to the entire organization. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining the CAE USA Process Asset Libraries by improving, releasing, and canceling processes and supporting the Quality and Continuous Improvement Organization in accordance with corporate strategies and objectives.
Responsibilities- Works with Process Owners as the initial PAL point of contact, maintaining the content, authorization, and suitability of the process library.
- Protects the library from loss of integrity, unauthorized changes, or improper use and ensures the library is available for use.
- Removes obsolete process documents to prevent unintended use and maintains version control of master document files.
- Ensures only authorized new documents, document changes, or cancellations are published to the PAL and that new, change, release, and cancellation requests are properly completed.
- Maintains document revisions and releases process documents; checks submittals for adherence to required templates and applies document numbering conventions.
- Monitors workflow from submittal to publishing, notification, and closure, and maintains PAL‑Admin templates, tools, work instructions, and processes, including annual reviews.
- Maintains the list of business process owners for each organizational function and PAL‑Admin change control records.
- Provides overall process guidance and education to users of the PAL change process and establishes a tracking system to ensure required maintenance reviews and updates are accomplished.
- Provides administrative support during internal and external audits, maintains required cadence of metrics and data reporting, and performs web‑based content administration for the Quality Assurance organization.
Must comply with all company security and data protection policies. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance. Only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
Work EnvironmentOperates in a professional office environment using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
Physical DemandsAbility to sit and stand for extended periods, focus visual concentration or listening, and work in a controlled environment with minimal exposure to disagreeable conditions.
Qualifications- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with AS9100 preferred.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong problem‑solving abilities.
- High level of motivation, sense of urgency, attention to detail, and energetic approach to job duties and requirements.
