Body Shop Estimator
Clay Cooley CJDR Collision Repair Center is seeking a skilled and experienced Body Shop Estimator to join our growing and dynamic team. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver exceptional customer experience while preparing accurate estimates and coordinating repair procedures. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, efficient, and able to meet deadline‑driven demands.

- Engage with customers and assess vehicle damage. Communicate with customers, conduct thorough inquiries, and inspect damaged vehicles to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, and interior damage. Provide customers with accurate, reliable information while guiding them through the repair process and delivering exceptional service.
- Prepare detailed repair evaluations and estimates. Review damage assessments and repair orders to identify required components, materials, labor, and paint work. Calculate associated costs to produce accurate and comprehensive repair estimates.
- Coordinate repair needs and ensure quality standards. Determine necessary repairs and parts replacements, collaborating with Technicians to evaluate the quality of completed work. Ensure repairs meet established standards, and when needed, return vehicles for additional work to meet quality requirements.
- Communicate with insurance providers. Work directly with insurance companies to review repair costs, discuss coverage, and confirm payment obligations.
- Complete onboarding within a few days of applying.
- Strong understanding of vehicle mechanical and repair procedures.
- Flexible availability, including the ability to travel as needed for vehicle transport.
- Minimum of 3 years of estimator experience required; compensation is based on experience.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
