  • Develop and refine offerings that attract commercial and government clients such as expanding upon core offerings of tech scouting, venture creation, and innovation training
  • Work with the executive team to identify and integrate acquisitions of commercial services firms, aligning service offerings, processes, and cultures between Fed Tech and acquired entities
  • Partner with the growth team to drive business development through client engagement, pilot conversions and account expansion
  • Integrate existing Fed Tech offerings into the corporate market, collaborating closely with various levels of the organization
  • Serve as a thought leader and internal champion for innovation best practices, staying informed of trends and emerging approaches across industries
Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience driving service‑based growth, anchored in commercial consulting and shaped by work across startups, advisory firms and/or R&D‑driven organizations
  • Strong understanding of the corporate innovation landscape, including common challenges, needs, and buying behavior of innovation teams
  • Experience leading or contributing to acquisition integrations (e.g., consulting, design, or prototyping firms)
  • Exceptional ability to synthesize complex services into clear, compelling offerings
  • Experience managing P&L, with a focus on driving company‑level revenue growth and margin performance
  • Proven ability to lead, develop and scale high‑performing teams
  • A collaborative, adaptable leadership style with the ability to manage ambiguity and align stakeholders
  • Passion for innovation, applied technology, and supporting dual‑use commercialization
  • Experience in business development and sales execution, from identifying leads to closing high‑impact engagements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
