Overview

What We Can Achieve Together:
The Philanthropy Learning Operations Specialist supports the Philanthropy Learning team within the Development division by coordinating learning operations (scheduling, logistics, communications, quality control, procurement, reporting and project management) for onsite, virtual, on‑demand, and blended experiences. The role supports smooth, inclusive delivery through strong logistics coordination, relationship management, and responsible, human‑centered use of AI tools.

Responsibilities
  • Manage end‑to‑end learning operations across multiple projects, coordinating schedules, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Plan and deliver logistics for instructor‑led learning (in‑person and virtual), serving as the onsite/virtual logistics lead during live sessions.
  • Promote offerings; manage registration and participant communications; triage inquiries with timely, customer‑service oriented responses.
  • Build and manage relationships with host sites and internal partners (e.g., IT, Office Services, business‑unit office management) to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Support inclusive learning environments by coordinating accessibility accommodations and attendee needs (e.g., A/V, microphones, room setup, dietary restrictions).
  • Support on‑demand learning development by learning required tools and co‑creating content with teammates.
  • Draft, maintain, and validate learning assets and offerings to ensure quality, accuracy, and alignment to intended outcomes.
  • Maintain learning systems and repositories (Learning Catalog, CONNECT, Conservation Training.org) and curate existing resources.
  • Maintain data integrity and produce metrics and reports on offerings and engagement to support decision‑making.
  • Coordinate purchasing, invoices, and vendor contracting in alignment with organizational policies.
  • Serve as a resource for learning operations by resolving internal process and system issues, improving workflows and documentation, and pivoting quickly to meet changing needs.
  • Use AI tools responsibly and in a human‑centered way (protect confidential information, mitigate bias, validate outputs) in alignment with organizational guidance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years related experience or equivalent combination.
  • Experience coordinating administrative processes.
  • Experience generating reports and interpreting data.
  • Experience in business writing, editing, and proofreading.
  • Experience organizing time and managing diverse activities to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working across teams and communicating with a wide range of people.
Salary

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $76,900 – $84,000. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate’s actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience.
