Job Overview
As Project Manager, you will lead the day‑to‑day management of the project, creating plans, guiding the team, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery.
Responsibilities- Lead all activities related to contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting.
- Have thorough knowledge of the company's contracts and understanding of all parties involved.
- Secure required permits and verify insurance coverage for subcontractors.
- Facilitate project meetings to coordinate work activity.
- Lead, train, and develop project team members.
- Prepare and submit monthly job status reports that outline project priorities and issues.
- Lead project close‑out of project, including turnover of manuals and warranties and preparation of final payment documents for subcontractors.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with counterparts at owner, engineering and design firms.
- Establish deadlines and monitor progress of the project.
- Drive a culture of safety on the project site.
- Support the company’s acquisition of new work by participating in proposals and presentations.
- Provide leadership to foster an environment of inclusion and diversity.
- Proactively identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate and win right work.
- Take an active role in recruiting top industry talent to join the Clark team.
- Identify, hire, and retain outstanding people.
- Exceed stakeholder expectations by anticipating their needs, desires, and goals.
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, a related discipline, or relevant work experience.
- 4+ years of construction experience required; working for a general contractor on large‑scale construction projects highly preferred.
- 2+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams.
- Understanding of the strategic, operational, and financial components of a construction project.
- Ability to make timely and effective decisions.
- Experience managing projects successfully from start to finish.
- Skilled at developing and negotiating relationships with owners and trade contractors.
- Strong work ethic, leadership, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

- DBIA and/or LEED accreditation.
This is an active, hands‑on role. You will spend significant time on construction sites, navigating uneven terrain, stairs, ladders, and hoists. You will be required to lift and carry materials up to 25 pounds routinely, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. The role also involves desk time for computer work, document review, and meetings.
Work will involve exposure to varying weather, moderate to loud noise, and confined or elevated spaces. Safety protocols must be followed and all applicable laws observed.
Work ScheduleExtended hours may be required during critical phases or client deadlines. You may need to respond to phone, email, or text communications as needed.
