Work hours:
Monday – Friday 8:00a-5:00p;
Hybrid typical schedule is 2 days in office per week.
Serves as a strategic legal business partner to Texas Health Resources ("THR") hospitals, Texas Health Physicians Group ("THPG"), and/or THR System Services departments, with primary responsibility for commercial transactions supporting procurement and supply chain initiatives (as assigned). Drafts, reviews, and negotiates a broad range of vendor/supplier and services agreements; provides practical, timely risk guidance to operational leaders; and identifies legal and regulatory risks and trends impacting contracting and supplier relationships.
Works with minimal supervision and participates in committees and meetings supporting assigned client groups.
- Provide legal support to THR hospitals, THPG, and/or System Services departments for assigned matters
- Draft, review, negotiate and advise on procurement/supply chain-related commercial agreements, including supplier/vendor agreements, master agreements, statements of work, amendments, and related documentation
- Serve as primary point of contact for designated internal clients; provide clear, timely, and actionable legal advice aligned with business objectives and risk tolerance
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of standard templates and terms; support continuous improvement of contracting processes, tools, and playbooks
- Provide training and education for business stakeholders on legal/compliance topics
- Participate as a member and/or attend various committees and/or meetings.
