Strategic Business Planning Manager

• Develop and implement annual and long-term sponsor partnership blood drive programs in the assigned geography to achieve collection goals
• Identify, develop, implement, manage, and retain Blood Program Leader and sponsor partnerships
• Maximize value from sponsor partnerships
• Provide organizational and operational support to sponsor contacts
• Maintain high-level communication with assigned Blood Program Leaders and sponsors
• Support annual blood drive calendar development and productive scheduling
• Monitor government, demographics, organizations, and competitive conditions in the assigned geography
• Apply market knowledge to service sponsor groups and penetrate designated markets
• Maintain accurate system records
• Provide tracking and statistical data on sponsor group performance
• Ensure organizational tools, technology, and strategies support customer service, efficiency, and productivity
• Identify opportunities for improvement

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, communications or related field required
• Minimum 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required
• Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, customer maintenance techniques, and negotiation skills
• Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including training and presentation skills
• Ability to work on a team
• Ability to work with internal/external partners and internal unit management teams to resolve complex business problems
• Ability to analyze historical collection data, project upcoming collection trends, define goals, develop measurements, and achieve operational improvements in key performance metrics
• Ability to effectively implement programs preferred
• Responsible for providing own transportation for business purposes
• Some travel may be required
