HVAC Sheet metal/Duct Superintendent

Kilgore Industries, one of the largest Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing subcontractors in the state of Texas is growing. The key to this growth is having the best team in the industry! We are looking for an experienced HVAC Sheet metal/Duct Superintendent who is looking to grow with the industry leader. The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the preparation and installation of large-scale commercial HVAC duct projects.

Position Duties:

• Oversee multiple projects, and coordinate labor and materials with Project Managers and General Contractors
• Able to plan and schedule jobsite activities and work from a construction schedule
• Able to work off contract drawings, comprehend design intent, and ensure accurate installations
• Responsible for quality control of his/her workforce
• Inspects the jobsite to ensure a clean and safe working environment is maintained daily
• Has a good understanding of how to operate the equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Reviews and approves weekly team member time sheets
• Supervise sub-contractor activities
• Maintains constant communication with the Superintendent, Project Managers, and Strategic Business Unit Leader

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 7+ years of commercial duct experience
• 7+ years of new construction experience
• 5+ years of Superintendent experience
• Must be able to read and interpret prints, layout, braze, and solder
• Display leadership and planning skills each day
• Work well under pressure and ensure the team meets all deadlines
• Ability to regularly lift 25 pounds
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
