Customer Accounts Advisor

Location:

Arlington, Texas.

Overview

Assists the Customer Accounts Department with lease agreement renewals, supports store operations, and serves as a customer counselor for timely agreements and renewals. Builds customer relationships via phone and in-person interactions.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain customer accounts, update information in the store computer system, and document all payment appointments.
  • Contact customers who have not renewed their lease agreements through home visits and phone calls.
  • Explain benefits of timely lease renewal payments and persuade customers to renew.
  • Assist the Customer Account Manager in setting and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly revenue and renewal goals.
  • Handle merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management.
  • Clean and certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center for personally returned items.
  • Complete and maintain weekly vehicle maintenance sheets and daily route sheets.
  • Load, secure, and protect product in company vehicle, and safely operate the vehicle.
  • Assist the Sales Team as needed.
  • Perform any reasonable duties requested by management.
Requirements
  • United States: at least 21 years old with a valid state Driver’s License and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy, including satisfactory MVR;
    Canada: at least 18 years old.
  • Must meet DOT requirements to obtain certification in required states (United States).
  • Ability to work a schedule of hours ranging from 8 am to 9 pm.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unaided and up to 300 lbs with a dolly.
  • Two years of retail/customer service experience preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High energy, multitasking ability, and proper telephone etiquette.
  • Uphold the Aaron’s brand and protect company assets.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Proficient computer skills.
Compensation

Salary range: $12.75 to $13.50 per hour/annually. The position is eligible for incentive pay based on performance.
