Valora Medical Group is seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join our growing team to provide outpatient primary care services to our senior population in the DFW Area.

Outpatient only (M-F, 8:00am-5:00pm)

Bilingual in English and Spanish is Highly Preferred

Primary Care Physician's Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate, assess, and treat patients’ medical conditions.
  • Order lab and other diagnostic testing and interprets results.
  • Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times.
  • Collect, record, and maintain sensitive patient information such as examination results, medical history, and reports.
  • Perform minor procedures.
  • Explain procedures or prescribed treatments to patients.
  • Liaise with medical professionals in the community and hospitals.
  • Promote health education in conjunction with other health professionals.
  • Meet targets set by the government for specified treatments.
  • Discuss and evaluate new pharmaceutical products with pharmaceutical representatives.
  • Keep up to date with medical developments, treatment, and medication.
  • Observe and assess the work of trainee doctors and medical students as needed.
  • Supervise mid-level providers, as needed.
Physician's Requirements:
  • Degree in Medicine (required)
  • 3 years of residency training (required)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred for this clinic location
  • Current Texas medical license and Federal DEA license (required)
  • Highly proficient in using EMR
  • eCW experience is a plus
  • Fantastic counseling and listening skills
  • Superb organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent decision-making skills and communication
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassionate nature with the ability to make patients feel at ease
  • Great management and leadership skills
