- Hourly Pay Rate: $4,297.80

- Support from a dedicated, 24/7 team throughout your assignment
- Evaluate and treat patients in the Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED)
- Manage care for laboring patients, monitor fetal heart tracings, and perform deliveries including vaginal and cesarean sections
- Respond to obstetrical emergencies and evolving labor complications
- Provide consults to the emergency department and hospital floors for pregnancy-related and gynecologic concerns
- Participate in emergency drills and quality improvement initiatives to enhance maternal and neonatal outcomes
- Follow evidence-based protocols and uphold patient safety standards
- Serve as a primary safety net for the labor and delivery unit
- MD or DO medical degree with Board Certification in OB/GYN
- Valid Texas Medical License or willingness to obtain
- Recent delivery and surgical experience, including vaginal deliveries, cesareans, and emergency procedures
- Clinical proficiency in obstetric care and patient management
- Ability to work 24-hour in-house call shifts
You will be part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital, a well-respected 369-bed acute care facility serving the Arlington community for over 60 years. The hospital handles approximately 1,300-1,500 births annually and features a Level III NICU, private maternity suites, and dedicated areas for high-risk pregnancies. Support staff includes neonatologists, OB/GYN hospitalists, certified nurse midwives, anesthesia, and family medicine providers.
The role involves delivering comprehensive obstetric services, managing complex cases, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives focused on maternal and neonatal health.
