Job Requirements
- Physician with a minimum of 1 year of neurosurgical clinical experience
- Board certified or board eligible in Neurosurgery
- Current, unrestricted medical license and eligibility to practice in Texas
- Clean professional file required for consideration
- Ability to provide reliable locum tenens coverage for scheduled dates and clinical needs
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
- Provide neurosurgical coverage for trauma and comprehensive stroke patients
- Respond to emergency consultations and evaluate patients with acute neurologic and neurosurgical conditions
- Deliver timely diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care
- Collaborate with emergency medicine, trauma, stroke, critical care, radiology, and surgical teams
- Perform or oversee appropriate neurosurgical interventions within the scope of practice
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in the Meditech electronic medical record
- Support continuous coverage and high-quality patient care in a Level II trauma environment
