Food Service Teacher (Chef) at Primrose School of Southwest Arlington located at 4621 West Sublett Road, Arlington, TX 76017. The role involves preparing nutritious meals for children in a safe and allergen‑aware environment.

• Maintain awareness of children with allergies and food restrictions and offer suitable substitutes.
• Ensure food is free of nuts and nut products, checking labels upon receipt.
• Follow the daily menu prepared in collaboration with or by the Director.
• Follow portion control standards for lunch and snacks.
• Adapt and implement menu changes as instructed.
• Ensure each meal is ready when scheduled.
• Order food and calculate amounts needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen area and equipment upkeep.
• Attend required staff meetings, workshops, and school functions.
• Maintain professional appearance per the Employee Handbook.
• Assist in other duties as assigned by the Director or designee.

• Meet local child care and food service regulatory requirements.
• Positive relationship with young children.
• Preferred experience in large‑scale food preparation.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
