The annual salary for this position ranges from $65,600 to $75,299. The final offer will be commensurate with the candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications.

Manages the planning, development, implementation, and assessment of engaged learning and first-year student success programs within the Division of Student Success. Oversees curriculum design, program operations, stakeholder partnerships, staff training, budget administration, and continuous improvement efforts to support student engagement, retention, career readiness, and alignment with university strategic goals.
Essential Functions- Manages the planning, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of engaged learning, career coaching initiatives and first-year student success programs in alignment with divisional and university strategic goals.
- Oversees the design, coordination, and delivery of student success curriculum for first-year seminar courses, including differentiated learning experiences that support academic readiness, career-related learning, and student engagement.
- Develops and administers assessment plans to evaluate career coaching initiatives, curriculum effectiveness, monitor student learning and retention outcomes, analyze results, and implement data-informed program improvements.
- Manages cross-campus partnerships with academic units, faculty, advisors, residential learning communities, and other stakeholders to support program growth, coordination, recruitment, and alignment with student success priorities.
- Administers program operations, resources, timelines, and procedures for first-year seminar and residential learning community initiatives, including monitoring programmatic budgets and expenditures.
- Leads recruitment, onboarding, training, and professional development for faculty, professional staff, advisors, and other program participants supporting first-year seminar courses and career coaching initiatives.
- Supervises professional and student staff, including assigning work, providing guidance and training, monitoring performance, and completing performance evaluations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Master’s degree and three (3) years of experience with curriculum design and teaching, OR nine (9) years of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Master’s degree in higher education, leadership, psychology, sociology, or related field and five (5) years of experience with curriculum design, academic program operations related to student engagement, retention, and career readiness.
- Knowledge of student development and learning theory, supervision, supplemental instruction, first year seminars, first year programming, or other similar educational programs.

- Monday through Friday; 8:00am through 5:00pm
- Some evenings and weekends.
- May work around standard office conditions.
- Position may be designated security-sensitive based on job duties or location.
