Sales Assistant

• Work directly or indirectly with customer or company representative to assess a customer’s needs and requirements to facilitate a successful quotation for the customers consideration.
• Provide excellent customer service in quoting, and in vendor relations.
• Establish methods and procedures to ensure productivity is maintained at an optimum level.
• Completes daily tasks, supports with vendors and customers to meet goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Must have a high school education or equivalent experience.
• 1‑3 years of experience in sales in the aerospace industry.
• Knowledge in OEM and general aerospace business environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of aircraft parts and aerospace requirements.
• Knowledge of inventory practices and general aerospace requirements regarding same.
• Self‑starter that shows initiative in improvements and in helping the company grow.
• An understanding of and working knowledge of aerospace quality management practices and AS9120 requirements is helpful.
• Must be computer savvy and able to learn company proprietary software programs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects.
• Solid communication skills, verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work interdepartmentally.
• Demonstrates strong customer service attitude and demeanor.
• Teamwork and leadership skills to raise our sales levels in the department.

• U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
• ITAR requirement.
• Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.
