Job Description

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer (PE) with 6+ years of land development experience to serve as a Project Manager
, leading site development projects from concept through construction. This role combines technical leadership, project management, and client coordination within a collaborative consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage land development projects including site planning, grading, drainage, utilities, roadway design, and stormwater management
  • Lead project teams consisting of engineers, designers, and consultants to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies
  • Prepare and oversee civil design calculations, reports, and construction documents
  • Review and seal plans, reports, and permit submittals as Engineer of Record
  • Coordinate entitlement and permitting efforts including SWPPP, drainage reports, and agency approvals
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and scope; assist with proposals and fee development
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior staff and support their professional development
  • Support construction administration activities including RFIs, submittals, and site visits

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license (required)
  • 6+ years of experience in civil land development consulting
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal design standards and permitting processes
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D for site grading, corridors, and utility design
  • Experience managing multiple projects and clients simultaneously
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
