Position Overview

Experienced or Lead Structures & Payload Design Engineer.

This position focuses on structural design and product definition for Boeing platforms, including space vehicles, launch systems, payloads, commercial aircraft, UAVs, ground vehicles, and defense industry platforms.

• Structural design and model-based product definition using 3D CAD.
• Product data management systems.
• Interpreting customer requirements into complying with product designs.
• Drawing generation and release.

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited engineering or related program.
• Experienced, Level 3: 5+ years’ related work experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Lead, Level 4: 9+ years’ related work experience or equivalent education and experience.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Material Sciences).
• 9+ years of design experience, preferably with modern aerospace or defense platforms.
• 2+ years experience with Creo, Catia, or NX CAD.

• Security clearance: U.S. Citizenship required; interim or final U.S. Secret clearance after start.
• Relocation:

• Shift: First shift.

Experienced Level 3: $90,100 – $129,950 per year.

Lead Level 4: $113,050 – $163,300 per year.
