This position is for the PAC-3 Japan Program working in the Quality Engineering department.
Responsibilities- Inspect hardware prior to customer delivery.
- Investigate root cause and implement corrective action.
- Handle warranty claims.
- Communicate with the Japanese customer.
- Work with other Japan team members and functions.
- Travel up to 25% for domestic and international assignments.
- Apply quality principles in design, incoming material, production control, production evaluation, program performance, reliability, inventory control, and research & development for make‑and‑or‑buy products.
- Perform technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings, and procedures.
- Collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers on quality issues to ensure standards are met.
- Engage in product failure investigations, material review board decisions, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Ensure corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and compliance requirements.
- Develop strategies and systems to improve internal and supplier performance and productivity.
- Evaluate quality systems for deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
- Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment; conduct product quality tests and perform statistical analysis on products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
- Engage in supplier selection and maintain certification programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related accredited technical discipline.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Position requires a government security clearance (Secret) and is located at a facility requiring special access.
- Experience with Japanese culture.
- Ability to speak and understand the Japanese language.
- Experience working with multi‑functional teams.
- Knowledge of SAP, APRISO, and AOD.
- Source inspection experience.
- Proficiency with Windows Operating Systems.
This position requires a government security clearance. Only U.S. Citizens are eligible for consideration.

ScheduleSchedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
