You will be the Supplier Quality Engineer Associate for the Supplier Quality Assurance Team. Our team is responsible for ensuring product quality and compliance on the THAAD program.
The position will require working flexible hours and travel out of the assigned geographical area to support suppliers across the United States. The THAAD program team provides a challenging environment that stresses continuous improvement and proactive mindset in driving down risk to the product and customer.
What You Will Be Doing:
As the Supplier Quality Engineer / Associate, you will be responsible for driving supplier focused quality initiatives, safeguarding product integrity, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues and driving continuous improvement in quality processes.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Support suppliers in delivering hardware that meets quality standards
* Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and standards
* Interpret and apply quality requirements throughout the production process
* Evaluate product for conformance to requirements and document non-conformances
* Apply troubleshooting skills to prevent recurrence of non-conformances
* Analyze supplier performance metrics, identify concerning trends, and proactively drive improvement actions

This position is in Dallas.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to travel ~25% of the time
An understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
STEM Bachelors degree or higher.
Ability to obtain security clearance, and therefore a U.S. citizen

Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications:
Word, Excel, Power Point
Ability to work in a collaborative and team based environment
Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
Security Clearance Statement:

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
