Program Quality Engineering Manager

Program Quality Engineering Manager for our team.

• Lead a team of Quality Engineers to implement and execute quality requirements for LTIAMD rate acceleration.
• Work cross‑functional to define processes that support manufacturing of tooling and test equipment to achieve nearly double production rates.
• Develop strategic plans for team growth and a proactive quality approach.
• Engage with other functional organizations to drive process improvements and efficiencies as well as adherence to key quality metrics.
• Responsible for all aspects of quality to support manufacturing with inputs to and from proposals, contract review, start‑up, development, transition to production, production and sustainment.
• Partner with program teams for quality execution of design, development, production and mobilization phases of program execution.
• Proficient in company policies.
• Perform contract reviews and flow down contract quality requirements to the quality team, including suppliers.
• Establish and manage quality budgets and cost commitments.
• Support the delivery of monthly contractual commitments through problem‑solving of high‑impact quality issues, including reviews of technical risk assessments, evaluation of corrective actions, and documentation of customer concerns.
• Participate in independent program reviews to understand risks and drive Return to Green plans.
• Maintain a DCMA/Customer quality relationship.
• Establish and maintain effective Quality Program Team business rhythm.

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or equivalent years of experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Strong understanding of AS9100 and other industry quality standards.
• Demonstrated ability to make critical decisions, set priorities and provide succinct direction in a dynamic business environment.
• Experience developing and driving Quality Management strategies resulting in optimal business outcomes.
• Experience with creating and implementing new processes while effectively managing change.
• Effective presentation skills and demonstrated ability to develop messages and compelling strategies that result in cross‑functional teams implementing innovative solutions.

• Previous management experience.

• Ability to create, monitor and report on executive operations metrics.
• Demonstrated expertise leading and implementing continuous process improvement.
• Experience planning and/or executing Quality Engineering tools (e.g., PPAP, APQP, Lean / Six Sigma).
• Ability to collaborate and influence others by translating data into actionable information.
• Experience creating new processes or methods to execute quality with affordability as a focal point.
• Ability to evaluate opportunities, weigh trade‑offs, and make timely recommendations when data is scarce or emerging.
• Ability to iterate quickly, gather feedback, and refine decisions as more data becomes available.

This position requires a government security clearance; the selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance and be a U.S. citizen.
