The University of Texas at Arlington Portal is looking for a Safety Specialist I – Hazardous Waste & Environmental Compliance to assist in compliance with hazardous waste regulations. You will support various Environmental Protection programs, conduct inspections and testing of laboratory equipment, and manage documentation related to hazardous material.
The preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and experience in safety training and inspections. The role requires 2 years of experience in hazardous waste management. The work schedule is Monday through Friday with occasional on-call duties.
