Enphase is introducing a new technology called Ensemble which allows seamless operation of energy resources such as inverters, storage systems, and loads to operate in a microgrid environment whether connected to a grid or not. This technology allows us to meet predefined Quality of Service specification and Economic objectives.
WhatYou Will Do
- Design verification – confirm that a new product design meets requirements
- Compliance – certify that our products meet compliance standards
- Reliability – ensure the product is reliable over its lifetime
- Manufacturing – ensure product is manufactured to the highest quality standards
- System verification – validate that Enphase products interoperate as a system
- Lead and develop a technical team consisting of Electronics Hardware Engineers, Software Engineers, and Engineering Technicians
- Evaluate Marketing and Engineering Requirement Documents
- Evaluate applicable standards for each product and design test hardware to implement required routine testing
- Coordinate closely with the Mfg. SW Development Team to design and ensure a fault‑tolerant test system
- Maintain, debug, and support the production facilities where the test systems are deployed
- Document the test system design and develop a maintenance regime, including calibration, replacement schedule, repeatability test, etc.
- B.S./M.S. in Electrical or Systems Engineering, or other suitable educational background or work experience
- 15+ years of experience designing, deploying and maintaining test equipment and fixtures
- Experience managing a large technical team including budgets and capital projects
- Strong Python programming skills
- Database experience
- Expertise with power electronics
- Mechanical design knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge of battery chemistry and technology is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skill
The base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $205,200 and may vary based on experience, skills, and location. This position is also eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits, with final compensation determined in accordance with applicable laws and internal equity.
