Job Overview
CAE is seeking a Financial Analyst to support defense and security programs. The analyst will gather, analyze, and report financial data to guide decisions and manage program costs and schedules.
Responsibilities- Maintain and update projects in Cobra using Earned Value techniques.
- Set up and maintain project IDs in Cost Point.
- Provide financial support and recommendations to Program and Control Account Managers.
- Assist with EAC updates per Sarbanes‑Oxley controls.
- Compile and analyze financial information, record transactions, and prepare accurate reports.
- Prepare monthly forecasts for revenue, profit, cash, and new orders.
- Support Senior Analysts with program tasks and analysis.
- Collaborate with finance team members, ensuring quality data before submission.
- Maintain a positive work environment and communicate cooperatively with customers and colleagues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of related experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for teamwork in a dynamic environment.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to the organization’s success.
- Only U.S. citizens eligible for this role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate.
- Time‑management skills.
- Comply with all company security and data protection policies.
- Properly mark and handle confidential information.
- Must be eligible for a DoD Personal Security Clearance.
- Professional office setting using standard office equipment.
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
- Ability to climb stairs.
- Ability to operate a personal computer.
