Salon Professional Trade Show Educator

Role Description This Salon Professional Trade Show Educator role is on-site work at trade shows and events around the country, attending approximately 6 shows a year. The educator will demonstrate professional salon techniques using Innovative Beauty Products’ brands, provide product knowledge and technical education to stylists, barbers, and other beauty professionals, and conduct live demonstrations and classes at trade shows and distributor events.

Tasks include setting up and breaking down event booths, engaging attendees, answering product and technique questions, trade show floor and trade show classroom demonstrations and relaying any feedback from professionals to share with the internal team.

Qualifications

• Professional salon experience as a licensed cosmetologist, barber, or beauty educator, with strong technical skills in hair and brow services, color application, and grooming techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to present, educate, and demo products in front of groups, including public speaking, live demonstration skills, and confident on-camera presence for occasional recorded content.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with beauty professionals, answer questions clearly, and represent the brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Comfort using basic digital tools (email, presentation software, video conferencing).
• Interest in and alignment with clean, cruelty-free, and plant-based beauty, with a willingness to learn detailed product knowledge across multiple brands.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move event materials as needed, and travel locally or regionally for shows and trainings; a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.
