Position Summary:
Lead Inpatient Therapist
The Lead Inpatient Therapist takes on a leadership role to perform social services functions to include assisting patients in meeting their bio-psychosocial needs while enabling them to access through therapeutic treatment skills to achieve their optimal level of emotional health, including providing basic consultation, teaching, complete specialized clinical social work services for patients/families receiving care, crisis intervention, short-term and long-term family therapy, and providing information and referrals as needed.

Full time, 40 hours/week. Monday–Friday, 8 am – 5 pm.

Requirements
- Educational:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related mental health field; licensure or certification as required by state regulations. - Experience:
Prefer at least 3 years’ experience in outpatient mental health settings with familiarity in hospital or clinic environments. - Licensure: LMSW, LPC, LMFT or equivalent licensure required.
- Additional Requirements:
CPR certification and training in appropriate use of Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Verbal De‑escalation prior to on‑the‑job training. - Strong knowledge of behavioral health modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and addiction counseling.
- Competency in crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage patients effectively across telehealth platforms when applicable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health and experience maintaining HIPAA‑compliant records.
