Overview
Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Arlington, Texas.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders across acute care settings.
- Support rotating weekend coverage as scheduled.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or equivalent.
- Active Texas SLP license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred; hospital experience required.
- Experience with speech therapy for acute care and critical care patients preferred (request for ST with critical care experience).
- Former experience working with HCA facilities preferred.
- Prior experience in a high-acuity hospital setting.
- Experience providing dysphagia management and bedside swallowing evaluations.
- Familiarity with facility documentation systems and acute care protocols.

08:00–16:30. - Rotating weekend coverage: approximately 2 weekend days per 4-week scheduling period.

Impacting Patient CareYour work will support acute care patients across speech and swallowing disciplines. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans, perform evaluations, and contribute to improved patient outcomes in a hospital setting.
Location HighlightsArlington is centrally located between Dallas and Fort Worth and offers both urban and recreational options. The city is home to AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field, within a 15–25 minute drive from central Arlington. River Legacy Parks provides over 1,300 acres of trails and natural areas less than 10 minutes from downtown. The city is a short drive to Six Flags Over Texas and Hurricane Harbor.
Commuting to Dallas or Fort Worth typically takes 20–40 minutes depending on traffic.
