Envision Imaging seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at our North Arlington, TX location.
Position: PRN (As-Needed) | Pay Range: $41.97 - $54.11 per hour
Summary / ObjectiveThe Nuclear Medicine Technologist prepares and administers radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic and tracer studies using a variety of radioisotope equipment. Detects and maps radiopharmaceuticals in patients' body using a camera to produce photographic or computer images. Calculates doses to be administered.

This position has no supervision responsibilities.
Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
No travel is expected for this position.
Job QualificationsMinimum Qualifications /
Experience:
- Two plus years’ experience in Nuclear Medicine
- Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed
- Detail oriented, self‑motivated, a problem solver and a team player
- Ability to excel in a very fast‑pace team environment
- Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Certification.
- Registry in Nuclear Medicine (N) or (CNMT)
- Current license from state medical board (if applicable)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
None required for this position.
