Ultrasound Technician

US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Full Time Dual Sonographer to join our team at Heartplace in North Arlington.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs 2-D Echo and Doppler studies.

Performs Stress Echo studies.

Responsible for performing a variety of noninvasive vascular evaluations

Explains procedures to patients and obtains informed consent from patient.

Obtains insurance precertification for testing as necessary.

Performs test result abstracting to EMR as necessary.

Duties, responsibilities and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.

May be required to move between locations as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

.Currently registered as a Cardiac Sonographer through ARDMS or CCI.Currently registered as a Vascular Sonographer or vascular registry eligible and completed by deadline set by the Company.

Current CPR certification.
