Sterile Processing Tech

Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital – Arlington is hiring a full‑time Sterile Processing Technician.

• $2,500 sign‑on bonus*
• Schedule available:
  Monday‑Friday
• Shift 1: 10:00 am – 6:30 pm
• Shift 2: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm

The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation.

• Sterilize instruments using steam, gravity, washer‑disinfector, and ultrasound units.
• Set up operating room instrument trays.
• Maintain records of instrument cleaning and sterilization.

Education:

High school graduate or equivalent.

Licensure/Certification: CRCST or equivalent required.

• At least 1 year of experience as an Instrument Room Technician.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation.
• Organized and able to set up operating room instrument trays.
• Understanding of steam/gravity sterilizer, Steris, washer‑disinfector, and ultrasound unit operation.
