Physical Therapist (PT) – PRN – Arlington, DFW
Location:
US‑TX‑ARLINGTON, Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas
Join the Rehab Without Walls Neurorehab team and provide functional, real‑life rehabilitation to adults in home and community settings. This PRN position (15‑20 hrs/week) is ideal for an experienced PT who values autonomy, flexibility, and working with adults in neurorehabilitation.

- Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Regularly re‑assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences
- Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources
- Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, service recipient, and family members
- Communicate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care, and enhanced patient outcomes
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Physical Therapist
- Current Basic Life Support or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification per state regulations
- Preferred: at least one year’s work experience as a physical therapist
- Demonstrated knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury
- Effective professional communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Capability to lift or transfer patients up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
- Requires fine motor skills, visual acuity, and the ability to walk or stand for extended periods
- Physical tasks may include pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and frequent positioning
- Health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter, as permitted by local or state regulations
