The Surgical Technologist will work in a dynamic operating room environment, providing support in a variety of surgical specialties. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of nurses and surgeons to facilitate efficient and safe surgical procedures.
Responsibilities- Assist in preparing the operating room prior to procedures.
- Maintain sterile conditions throughout surgical procedures.
- Efficiently manage surgical instruments and equipment.
- Support the surgical team with optimal patient care.
- Participate in required on-call shifts as necessary.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) national/military certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a surgical environment, specifically in trauma, orthopedic, and neuro procedures.
- Experience with Meditech electronic medical records is preferred.
- Robotics experience and charge nurse experience are advantageous.
