Seasonal Patient Care Technician - Central Staffing Office Main Office:

The main office for the Central Staffing Office is in Arlington, TX but you will primarily be working in Region
B.
PRN, must be available to work 36 hours/week.
* This position is not eligible for Full Time or Part Time benefits*
Day shifts, 7AM - 7PM (no self-scheduling).
Pay:$30.00 per hour
Regions are as follows:Region B:
Denton, Flower Mound, Southlake, HEB, Arlington Memorial, Heart & Vascular, Alliance, and Azle
Texas Health Central Staffing Office - internal staffing department that provides clinical staffing resources for all THR hospitals. Must have flexibility to float throughout the Metroplex based on the needs of the business. The Central Staffing Office is broken into particular zones, but in the event that your primary zone does not have any needs, you must be open to being floated to outside, neighboring zones.

- High School Diploma or Equivalent (REQUIRED)
- 1 year experience required within the last 3 years (REQUIRED) OR
- No experience required if a nursing student who has completed fundamentals or military experience with medical training equivalent (REQUIRED)
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire (REQUIRED)
- Provide assistance to patient according to plan of care.
- Collect patient data, identifies and reports significant findings to nurse.
- Assist in admission/transfer/discharge.
- Provide and Revise patient activities of daily living based on patient/family preferences.
- Perform technical procedures safely and proficiently.
- Take action to reduce or eliminate patient risk.
- Enter orders into computer or manual system if applicable.
- Document accurately and appropriately.
- In collaboration/consultation with the nurse, adapt care to reflect patient population.
- In collaboration/consultation with nurse, incorporate cultural/religious needs and beliefs into delivery of care.
- Keep patient environment clean and maintains safe environment.
- Anticipate patient/family and visitor needs and take action to meet those needs and rounds as appropriate.
- Delivery of high quality of patient care through nursing education, nursing research and innovations in nursing practice.
- Strong Unit Based Council (UBC).
