Labor and Delivery (L&D) nurse in a high-risk OB unit located at a women's hospital. This role involves providing specialized care for obstetric patients, including high-risk pregnancies and labor management. The position requires collaboration with a dedicated team to ensure patient safety and positive birth outcomes.

• Schedule:
  
  Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Valid licensure as a registered nurse, diploma, associates degree or higher in nursing, at least 1 year of travel experience in high-risk OB Labor and Delivery, completion of neuroprotective protocol (NRP), intermediate fetal monitoring skills, current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Experience in obstetric emergency department (OBED), high-risk, and high-volume obstetric care.
• Float:
  Float rotation may be required within the women's health units for diverse clinical coverage.
• Additional Information:
  The unit is equipped with EMR systems including CPN and Meditech. The team often manages high-risk OB procedures such as magnesium and insulin drips, as well as circulating and scrubbing responsibilities. The unit prioritizes team players who enjoy a busy environment and possess strong collaboration skills.
