We are seeking a PRN Licensed Therapist to join our clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate mental health professional who is passionate about helping patients achieve meaningful progress in their recovery journey.
What You'll DoAs a Licensed Therapist, you will play a vital role in the interdisciplinary treatment team by providing therapeutic services and supporting patients throughout their treatment experience.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
- Maintain communication with families, guardians, and community partners regarding patient progress and discharge planning.
- Coordinate discharge planning and aftercare services to promote successful transitions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other treatment team members.
- Document assessments, treatment interventions, and patient progress in accordance with regulatory and facility requirements.
- Connect patients and families with appropriate community resources and support services.
Required
- Master's degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
- Current unrestricted Texas licensure:
- LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LPC-A, LMFT, or equivalent.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Handle With Care (HWC) certification (obtained when hired).
- One (1) year of experience in an inpatient psychiatric or behavioral health setting.
- Experience working with children and adolescents.
- Strong crisis intervention, assessment, and communication skills.
- PRN (as needed)
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Additional hours may be available based on census and departmental needs.
