Position OverviewThe Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with the Human Resources Director. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment, onboarding, policy implementation, compliance, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Talent Acquisition- Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned departments, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
- Draft and update job descriptions
- Ensure compliance with EEO and applicable hiring regulations
- Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure a seamless new hire experience
- Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) and candidate communications
- Lead and support HR projects such as policy revisions, engagement initiatives, compliance audits, and system implementations
- Participate in organizational development and change management initiatives
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance HR efficiency and employee experience
- Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly HR reports, including headcount, turnover, recruiting metrics, absenteeism, and performance data
- Maintain data integrity within HRIS systems
- Provide workforce analytics and insights to leadership to support strategic decision-making
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–5 years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or similar role
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or related HR certification
- Experience in multi-state or complex organizational environments
