Strategic Employee Relations Specialist Here’s What You Need
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a relevant field required
- 4 years of relevant work experience in employee relations, HR Generalist, or an HR Business Partner role required
- 1 year of healthcare experience preferred
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or other nationally recognized HR related certification within 2 years required (any of the listed certifications qualifies)
The incumbent will serve as the principal investigator for formal and compliance cases/investigations as assigned, assisting with projects, training, education, and other matters as needed.
Investigations- Conduct investigations, including Grievances, Alternate Dispute Resolutions (ADRs), Corporate Compliance, and Exit Survey investigations, in a neutral and timely manner.
- Complete intake meetings, background research, and interviews, then submit documented Executive Summary Reports with recommendations for resolution.
- Display strategic influence by consulting with key stakeholders (Legal, Executives, Entity Human Resources Officers, and interdisciplinary teams) to assess and mitigate organizational risk.
- Collaborate in the development of solutions for systemic or departmental issues revealed during the investigative process. Close the case with involved parties and conduct debriefs with Leaders, Human Resources, and executive Leadership teams.
- Maintain the ER outlook mailbox and voicemail, providing employee relations assistance and guidance for all levels of the organization.
- Manage cases from receipt to closure, tracking the case through completion as appropriate.
- Interpret policies and apply them with awareness of impact and liability.
- Manage Exit Surveys, conduct root cause analysis, investigate concerns, and follow up to closure.
- Consult with key stakeholders such as the legal team and other interdisciplinary teams (as needed) to assess organizational risk.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of organization HR policies, federal, state, and local employment law.
- Establish and maintain productive working relationships with consumers and team members.
- Collaborate and consult with team members as needed.
- Build trust and credibility among team members and consumers.
- Facilitate resolution to differences between individuals and groups of people.
- Escalate systemic or departmental issues revealed during the investigative process to help build, implement, and execute solutions.
- Participate in project teams as needed.

Work location: This is a hybrid role. The position will work remotely and at 612
E. Lamar, Arlington, Texas 76011, and occasionally transfer to health‑care facilities throughout the metroplex.
Work hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
