Tech Op Solutions International is actively seeking a Privacy Analyst with expertise in compliance and data protection to support the Department of State's privacy initiatives. This position is pivotal in ensuring that all Department of State operations comply with relevant privacy laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive reviews, drafting strategic documents, and collaborating with various departments to maintain a strong privacy posture.
Please note this role is for approximately 90 days as a period of performance support the United States Department of State.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct privacy risk assessments and audits to identify compliance gaps and recommend remediation strategies.
- Prepare, review, and update privacy documentation, including:
- Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs / PTAs)
- System of Records Notices (SORNs)
- Other privacy and compliance-related reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop privacy training materials and support privacy awareness initiatives.
- Support the privacy incident response process
, including incident review, investigation, and corrective action implementation. - Monitor and stay current on federal privacy laws, policies, and emerging trends to ensure proactive compliance.
- Coordinate privacy and regulatory compliance activities with legal, IT, and operational stakeholders

*** An active DoD or DoS Secret Clearance is required to be considered for this role.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Law, Information Technology, Public Policy).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in privacy analysis or compliance, within Government Agencies.
- Strong understanding of applicable privacy laws, such as the Privacy Act and other regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in drafting and reviewing privacy compliance documentation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective reporting and collaboration.
- CIPP certification or similar credentials is a plus.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to meet security clearance requirements for federal positions.
