We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our client in Arlington, TX. This role focuses on advanced enterprise network architecture and operation, with emphasis on Cisco ACI, SD‑WAN, and security.

• A highly skilled Level 3 Network Engineer to lead architecture, implementation, and optimization of next‑generation enterprise network.
• Senior subject matter expert for Cisco ACI (Data Center) and SD‑WAN (Wide Area Network) environments.

Pay Rate: $80.00–$85.00/hour

• Design and manage a Multi‑Pod/Multi‑Site Cisco ACI environment, overseeing Tenants, VRFs, Bridge Domains, ESGs, EPGs, and Contracts.
• Architect and deploy segmentation strategies within the Data Center to prevent lateral movement of threats.
• Serve as final point of escalation (L1‑L7) for complex network outages and conduct deep‑dive root cause analysis using packet capture and advanced telemetry.
• Maintain computer networks including routers, switches, VPNs and other physical hardware/software.
• Monitor systems to improve network performance.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and communicate networking issues to employees and management.
• Research, install, configure, and upgrade network hardware and software.
• Create firewall rules and update software and data security systems.
• Implement disaster recovery procedures.
• Provide on‑site support for projects that require on‑site installation and support.
• Design and implement new network solutions or improve efficiency of current networks.
• Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase goodwill and profit.
• Participate in on‑call rotation.
• Travel overnight as required.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Mentor Level 1/2 engineers and lead cross‑functional project teams.
• Translate business compliance requirements into technical network policies.
• Explain complex SDN concepts to non‑technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Additional duties as assigned.

• 8–10+ years in Enterprise Networking, with at least 3+ years of hands‑on ACI and SD‑WAN production experience.
• CCIE (Data Center or Enterprise) highly preferred; CCNP (Data Center) or Cisco Certified Specialist in ACI/SD‑WAN required.
• Expert knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN, MPLS.
• Deep familiarity with Cisco APIC, vManage, vSmart, and vBond controllers.
• Strong experience with Cisco firewalls.
• Advanced understanding of network services and protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, VRRP, VRF, VTP, DHCP, DNS).
• Hands‑on with routers, switches, firewall, Cisco IOS and Nexus NX‑OS.
• High proficiency in OSI model and troubleshooting technology issues.
• Effective communication with management and non‑technical personnel on any technology issue to ensure they understand the nature of the issue and current statue easily understood on any outage conference calls.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, goal‑driven.
• Experience managing large projects/processes independently.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.
• Must have a vehicle and valid driver’s license.

• Working knowledge of Cisco firewalls.
• Experience with F5 Load Balancer.
