Sr. Network Engineer

Our client, a leading technology and infrastructure organization, is seeking a Network Engineer IV to join their team. As a Network Engineer IV, you will be part of the Network Operations Department supporting the global network infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Network Engineer IV

Location: Arlington, VA | Fully onsite

Pay Range: $75 per hour on Experis W2 (No C2C)

• Deploy, manage, and automate large-scale network infrastructure to support organizational growth and efficiency.
• Design scalable and resilient network solutions across global platforms to ensure seamless connectivity and performance.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues, providing innovative and effective resolutions to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network changes safely and efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.
• Maintain and enhance the security and operational integrity of the network environment through best practices and industry standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or relevant networking certifications.
• Minimum of 7+ years of industry experience in network engineering or related roles.
• Extensive experience with protocols & technologies including DWDM, T1/DS1, DS3, SONET, VLANs/STP, IPv4/IPv6, BGP, OSPF, HSRP/GLBP, PIMv2, IPSEC/VPNs, Net Flow, DNS, HTTP.
• Hands‑on experience with major router platforms, specifically Cisco 37xx, 49xx, 65xx, 73xx, 76xx, including all compatible supervisory and line cards.
• Strong network analysis fundamentals and troubleshooting skills, with a proven track record of designing simple, scalable solutions and resolving complex network problems.
