ResponsibilitiesAbout the role:
The Global ECM Architect III is a technical subject matter expert for our ECM platforms (IBM’s ECM suite of products including but not limited to Cloud Pak for Business Automation (CP4BA), File Net, Business Automation Workflow, Datacap, Content Collector, ECM System Monitor, etc). This includes, but is not limited to, analysis, design, project estimation, as well as product support and systems administration.
This position will be responsible for providing installations, upgrades, technical guidance and specialized support for the development and implementation of ECM-based applications and solutions. This position involves direct coordination with other team members, departments, business partners and outside vendors on project management.
- Administer the configuration and set-up, manage the upgrades and patching of our ECM platforms (IBM Datacap, CP4BA, File Net, Case Manager, BAW, ICC, ESM, etc.)
- Ensure our platforms and solutions are following modern standards and look for opportunities to implement new technologies
- Maintain a production-first mindset focused on scale, uptime, and ability to rapidly triage/resolve production issues
- Interface with customers to provide issue resolution for products and solutions
- Interface with software vendors and suppliers in support of business applications software
- Perform vulnerability assessment, remediation, and reporting for the DPS platform and all its components
- Provide technical demonstrations/presentations to IT leadership, business partners, and project stakeholders
- Promote a cooperative and productive team environment
- Work closely with internal business units and IT partners to facilitate project completion
- Be available for an on-call rotation to participate in deployment, troubleshooting, and communication efforts outside of normal business hours
- Advanced experience with ECM Platform Administration
- Advanced knowledge of industry-standard ECM tools including but not limited to IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation, File Net, Business Automation Workflow, Datacap, Content Collector, ECM System Monitor, etc.
- Proficiency in scripting (bash/Python, Red Hat Ansible) and Git-based workflows
- Extensive experience in performing Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management
- Extensive knowledge of enterprise database technologies such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Postgre
SQL, etc. - Hands‑on experience operating Open Shift (IPI/UPI installs, bare metal, virtualization integration)
- Metrics and Monitoring:
Splunk, AWS Cloud Watch, Kafka, IBM ECM System Monitor - In‑depth knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27000, NIST, FFIEC, etc.)
- Knowledge of cloud‑native container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat Open Shift, etc.
- Proficiency with Ansible and Terraform
- Strong Linux (RHEL) administration, networking (CNI, VLANs, DNS, TLS), and storage (CSI/NFS/iSCSI/Ceph)
- 5‑7 years of prior analysis experience in an Information Technology environment and respective business area required
- 3‑5 years of work experience in implementing, configuring, customizing, upgrading, managing and troubleshooting ECM platforms required
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work or military experience required
